Headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, Village Travel has been offering high quality travel services for more than 45 years. We are a full-service agency offering travel services for domestic, international, business and leisure travelers. We strive to provide quality, value, and convenience for new and existing clientele. From business trips to honeymoons, cruises to tours, we can arrange itineraries for any budget, interest, and destination.

WHO WE ARE

Terry Zats, CTC

Agency owner and President
Terry is a Certified Travel Counselor with over 25 years of travel industry experience. He earned his B.A. from the University of Minnesota. Terry holds his Certified International Fare Construction Specialist designation and is a Certified Travel Counselor, CTC. Terry took over ownership of the family business in 1992. He is an active volunteer member and certified senior ski patroller in the National Ski Patrol (NSP). His travels have taken him all over the world. He has traveled throughout Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, North America, South America, and Australia.

Sheila Burns Zats

Director of Sales and Marketing
Sheila Zats brings extensive international travel experience in sales, marketing, promotion and product development to Village Travel. Her career has included working in Chicago for Abercrombie & Kent, the Drake Hotel and Thomson Vacations (now Apple Vacations). In the Twin Cities, Sheila has worked in sales and product development for MLT Inc. and Northwest WorldVacations. Her experience includes working with Northwest Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, international tourism boards, visitor and convention bureaus, hotel chains, car rental companies and tour operators. In addition, she supervised the National Car Rental account and joint promotions with DisneyWorld and Disneyland for a marketing promotions firm. Sheila earned a bachelor of arts degree from College of St. Benedict. She has lived in Madrid, Spain and Mexico City where she became fluent in Spanish. In addition, she spent a year traveling with Up With People, working in community service and entertainment promotion for the non-profit organization.

Beverly Seifert

Accounting Manager
Bev has been with Village Travel for 25 years. Beverly is in charge of administrative functions and bookkeeping. She has traveled the United States extensively. She spends much of her time at her cabin "up north" and is our resident Northern Minnesota expert.

Heidi Keil Mark, CTA

Supervisor, Corporate Sales Agent, International Leisure Sales Agent, Webmaster
Heidi is a Certified Travel Associate with more than 13 years of travel industry experience. At She covers all areas of travel including, corporate travel management, leisure and cruise, business travel and international travel sales. She has extensive corporate travel experience, serving all types companies from large multi-national corporations to small start-ups, from leading business-to business services firms to large non-profit organizations. She has personally traveled to most of the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) as well as China, Thailand, Canada, Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Peru, Iceland, Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Italy. She has sailed on Princess, Norwegian, and Holland America cruise lines. In addition to completing the Certified Travel Associate course, she has recently completed the following specialist courses: Marriott Hotels, Fairmont Hotels, Langham Hotels, Dive Specialist, Bermuda Specialist, Business and First Class Specialist, Incredible India, Tanzania Specialist, and Visit Southern Africa.

Shanna Kress

Leisure and Study Abroad Agent
Shanna holds a B.A. from College of St. Thomas.
Shanna has six years of industry experience. Shanna has studied abroad in France and she now manages most of our student study abroad programs. She also has extensive experience planning vacations to many destinations around the world. Shanna is a cruise specialists with Princess & Royal Caribbean. She has personally traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, Martinique, Montreal, Toronto, France, England, Ireland, Greece, Spain, and Italy.

Jill Kreger

Leisure, Domestic and International Agent
Jill is a graduate of the Minneapolis School of Business. Jill holds a degree in Travel & Hospitality. Jill has two years of travel industry experience. Jill has traveled throughout the U.S., Mexico, Caribbean, and Europe.
